10:10:00 PM i miss shopping .... i wonder how can one not enjoy shopping ..... i guess is the greatest thing ever next to eating .... being going shopping for the last 2 weekends.. weee~~~~ although to say i m not those who will buy a lot of things at one go .... i like to walk around .... checking out all the in-things. oh btw .... i went shopping with limpy at bugis last sat... i realised the lastest trend now is all the lacey tops ..... wahaha .... anyhow .... we sort of got confused at bugis street... there are just too many shops and almost every shop sells the same things... we were in a daze .... the mood to shop was gone . so we decided to head back to bugis street again =) geezzzz .... anyhow bought a top at BYSI and i love this top =D today wasnt a great day at all .... took leave today cos i am down with stomach flu AGAINZZZZZZZZ.... this is so sickening. having diarrhoea and vomiting since last night .... lost my appetite.... wonder whats wrong with my stomach ? is so sensitive that the slightest thing can just turn it upside down.... and is not the first time ... arghxxxx... irritating .... i wanna get well soon ...... 11:03:00 PM had a great weekend hanging with with all my darlings .... here is another one shot updates of the happenings. Went out with my bestest pal (u know who u r) to shop on sat .... before that .... we went RELC to submit my application form to UOL. lolx ..... lotsa ppl but fortunately it doesnt take long to reach my turn. okay back to the shopping .... our first stop is Zara at Liat Tower. We enjoyed shopping there rather than the one at Taka cos is bigger and is less crowded. so we can take our time to shop and try out the clothing. Our first buy of the day was at zara .... wahaha ..... then we move on for lunch at YaKun.... i miss those days when the hoons hang out at Yakun after sch. talk bout lotsa stuffs while we enjoyed our lunch. then is back to shopping. i bought this Rectangle frame-like earring. lolx.... and she bought this white retro hairband. wahaha ..... nice time spent at far east also.... then we head down to Little India (most anticipated part of the day) where i try the eyebrow treading. haha ... good experience. and is cheap. i think i will visit there once every month for eyebrow trimming. as compared to using a tweezer .... treading is so much less painful. okay then we head down to the Eygptian restaurant at Arab street for dinner then Esplanade before parting. went to celebrate Father's day with my Extended family. Happy Father's day =) Met up with my sec sch babes on Sunday. zhen wen, shu yan and yuxuan. this outing was mend to celebrate wen's birthday on 11 june. went cartel for lunch where we had a surprise for her. wahaha .... she was so touched. took lotsa pics at cartel. shall post it up soon. went shopping again. wahaha ...great day spent... meet up soon=) took a day leave yesterday cos there is uol orientation in the morning. met some sec sch and jc friends at sim. lolx... m so worried i will be alone but no more loneliness with all those friends. the orientation was kinda boring cos we were cooped up in the LT for hours to listen to talks after talks. mainly about the adminstration stuffs. had a chance to take a glance at my future schmates..... everyone looked so tense, dont know why. wahaha .... anyhow .... there will be another orientation coming up soon...... met up with yuwei and meiling for dinner yesterday. this meeting-up is also to celebrate yuwei's bday. lol .... had dinner at Ajisen and desserts at nydc. we ordered the cookie monster mudpie (yw's bday cake) hot chocalate (my drink) E=mc^2 (yw's drink) and this chocolate elephancinno drink (ml's). everything was so yummmy except for E=mc^2. taste weird. .... anyhow, the mudpie satisfies all our cravings for chocolates. had a nice talk at nydc. trying to catch up with each other's life. overall ... great evening spent with my dance darlings. we are meeting up again real soon =) wahaha .... cant wait .... while we were walking back to orchard mrt, we noticed this lion-like dog... sounds scary ... i thought it is a lion from far cos this dog is really furry and huge in size. but when u look at it upclose, is really a cute dog . the colour of the fur is really pretty, different shades of blonde.... surprisingly, the dog's owner was not anywhere to be seen and the dog was not chained up or anything so is free to move anywhere ... a really tame dog ... not afraid of the crowd. the dog didnt bark or try to attack anyone. some who were daring went up to pat the dog. is really a rare scene at orchard. lol ..... okay gtg ... need to work tmr. tata =) Tuesday, June 13
11:21:00 PM This is one of those days when i felt exceptionally moody....i wanna dig a hole and bury myself in. A cut off from all the hustle bustle of the city. i wanna retreat to my small little world, where i can lie on the greenie grasses, star-gaze and humming my favourite tune. Is so relaxing, isnt it. Reality bites, it really does. i wanna another getaway from spore. i m already getting bored here. I am tired of giving in.... i am not gotta be a nice person from now on. Hear that .... 11:11:00 PM Hey ppl, I am backie from the trip. I must say the trip was great. Better than i thought it to be. The sceneries are just so incredibly beautiful. Especially the night sceneries at Shanghai. They called this place the " Wai Tan ". So as part of the tour, we get to take a boat ride to enjoy the night sceneries. Took Lotsa pics. Hopefully the night shots turn out fine. Anyhow, had a great time shopping at Shanghai. I came back to Singapore almost penniless. Bought lotsa stuffs at Xiangyang street. Is sth like the Pasar Malam in Singapore. Maybe the bigger version of it. I actually got lost in Xiangyang street. You cant remember exactly which stall you had visited cos almost every stores looks the same. They sell almost the same things, maybe just at a different price. Had a great time bargaining there. lolx.... the things there are so cheap. the imitation goods look exactly like the real one. haha ...... We spent like 8 and a half hour there. lol ..... is like fanatic shopping. i just buy whatever i like without hesitating, of course the price must be reasonable. Great quality time spent at Xiangyang street. Okay, about the food. i guess Xiao long Bao is the best delicacy i had tasted in China. The soup is really yummy and it is just amazing how they managed to prevent the soup from seeping out of the thin layer of Xiao Long Bao while steaming. Is definitely a must to try it when you go to China. About the rest of the food, they are either too salty, too oily or too sweet. Doesnt really appeal to me but still i managed to survive thru 8 days of eating all those saltish, oily and sweet food (sinful). Bet i must have grow fatter. Is so unhealthy. Now to the ppl, i just cant imagine what will become of me if i grew up in China. Believe it or not, i still see grown-ups urinating on the street. And they start cursing you when you dont buy stuffs from them. Especially when i am in Xiangyang street, the number of time i got cursed or scolded is just countless. And they speak really loudly. but not to stereotype, some China ppl are really kind and more civilised. As for the hotels, they are generally okay. not like any four or five stars hotel but still is kinda cosy. Guess this trip to China is so worth it. went to Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Wuxi in simply 8 days. i had seen and done so many things. lolx.... a fantastic experience indeed =) Met up with Limpy , Jie and Syraf yesterday. Went to watch Da Vinci Code too. I am a litte behind time. haha ... anyhow i guess the show is great but you really have to follow closely with each and every scenes to get the whole picture. there are lotsa christanity related stuffs. but still i enjoy the 2 and a half hour inside the cinema. anyway, had a great time with the hoons. a pity i had to leave halfway. sorry guys.... hopefully we can meet up soon. okay gtg... got an essay to write. tata =) |
