Beautiful Awakening

It is the 3rd day with sick bugs creating chaos in my body. Lose my voice on the first day, manage to regain a little of it till today. Then it is the flu bug today and cough bug has been causing mayhem for the past 3 days. Sore throat is slightly better plus pms. Frustration coupled with boredom. These few days had been such a turn off. Off.

Myriad of emotions is how I'll describe 18 June 2008. Had my eCR in the morning. Log in around 10.05am (The eCR starts at 10am) to get good slots for my year 3 modules. It ended up that I've no class for one of my modules and I'll have to substitute it with another module instead. Feeling anxious and despondent as i look at my timetable, many had offered me the solution to call up the school and so i did. Called the customer service and they said there's nothing they can do about it . On the verge of giving up when i managed to find the direct line of the course administrator. I seem to think it is not easy to get her on the phone but she picked up really fast unexpectedly and within 5 minutes, problem solved and i get the modules that i want. I'm bursting with joy this time round.

Moving on, I met up with Yuwei deer for a movie at Dobhy Gaunt. Supposed to watch Get Smart but the tickets are sold out for the slot that we wanted so we've to replace it with You don't mess with the Zohan. Nonetheless, the show never fails us with all the hilarious scenes. It has lots of sexual content though definitely there's no showing of anything unsightly since it is NC16 but emphasis on those sexual stuffs are visible throughout the whole show. A show that will inevitably bring fun, laughter and joy.

It's Yuwei deer's 21st birthday as well. So we met up with 2 more deers, Meiling and Jeannette at Chinatown MRT station with anticipation about the place that we're gotta have our dinner. Anyone who has caught The Leap Years will know of the Windows Cafe, a place not forgotten because of the significance that the show has placed upon it. Anyway, it was located on 3 Club Street. I even read the critics online about the food there. We're drooling at the mention of fabulous desserts and mouth-watering grilled delicacies. So we set off with excitement and got ourselves to Club Street with determination to find Windows Cafe. Walking in circles, round and round, from Club Street to Ann Siang Hill, we found no resemblance of any restaurant that is like Windows Cafe. Walking in the drizzles and the thoughts of the non-existence of Windows Cafe starts to surface in all our minds. We asked around and people whom we asked gave us alienated look, thinking we are probably searching for something that doesn't even have a physical state.

So yes, here's the confirmation. 3 Club Street doesn't exist anymore so is Windows Cafe. Their website still exist though but no longer a tangible asset. Still, it isn't a challenge to find a place to eat at Club Street. We settled for a place called Spizza. It serves unique pizza and pasta. So on our order list, we had two pizzas, Zara (thin crispy crust with chocolate syrup, banana slice and a generous serving of almond on it) and Ursela (thin crispy crust with raw salmon, a little serving of whipped cream, some spices and Basil leaves) as well as pasta with shrimps, olio and Aglio. The distinctive feature of this restaurant is that it has pizza ranging from alphabet A to Z. So we had a sumptuous meal before we head off to Cold Rock at Holland V. A pleasant way to end the day with the deers though it is indeed disappointed not to be able to dine at Windows Cafe for once...

Hello all. Life has been good for me. Working but not most of the days. Eating well. Sleeping soundly. Slight cough but still coping well. Caught Made of Honour today. I know this is an ages ago movie but the delay is inevitable due to exams. Still, i watched it. haha. But yup. I went into the cinema with no idea of why this movie is titled made of honour. Nonetheless, the show speaks it all. Watch it and you'll know. The ending is sweet and perfect. To put it simply, the bottom line of the movie is that everyone should be empowered by the courage in the pursuit of their true love. A movie worth watching.

Alright. Time to hit the bed. It has been a long day and I'm in high spirit the entire day. Carry on this way and hopefully one less potential wrinkle on my face. haha. ok. Hope for a sunshine morning. Off.

Hello one and all, hows everybody's holiday coming along ? Into the 3rd day of my loooooooooong awaited holiday. Yes, looooooooooooooong awaited holiday. I recalled how much I'm yearning these days will come soon. Surprisingly, I wasn't very excited when i finished my exam though definitely i heaved a sign of relief at the thought that school will be out for me for 3 months. Unexpectedly, I'm actually having some post exam syndrome (if you ever call that by this name). I will wake up in the morning thinking of what i gotta study for the day and only to realise that exams are over so no studying. I'll start reminding myself to study in the midst of doing things when i realised once again that school's out. I was telling one of my girl-friend today and she was telling me thats perfectly normal. So thankfully i wasn't suffering from some serious studying freak illness caused by excessive studying. But then again, I wasn't studying excessively. Gosh. I realised I'm blabbering nonsense.

Anyhow, there hasn't been lots of actions and going out this week. But next week gotta be something to look forward to. Joyous week with fun laughter love and joy. Not forgetting irresistably good food.

And Dearest Hoonies, can we have a gathering real soon ? I haven't seen you guys for ages. Time to have a gathering to catch up on one another's life alright.
