Mum was tidying her room and happened to find the love letters that my dad and her wrote to each other back when they were still dating. Curiousity or just being nosey, i grab the letters and read them. Chinese characters and a few words miswritten, the old traditional way of writing a letter with a proper heading and sign off. I definitely had a good laugh at how they were once innocent and madly in love with each other. But what really sets me thinking is how sincere the letters are being written. Unlike our era of smses and email, they are normally devoid of emotions and feelings. Just words staring back at you. Not because we do not write with emotions now but because smses and email simply do not convey emotions and feelings as well as a letter does. It's been ages since i last wrote a letter and send it to someone. Probably i should start writing again though the person may be just a sms or email away. Pardon me for my rather incoherent post. Just a random thought. Off. Take care world =)
